was born in Detroit, Michigan and presently resides in Saginaw, Michigan with his wife Chestermae and son, Jason Christopher. He is Pastor & Founder of Word of Faith International Ministries since 1988, one of the fastest growing ministries in the city of Saginaw. A faith-filled ministry open to all nationalities and backgrounds with a vision to reach the hurting and dying world through the Word of God and power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 10:8)
He began his education at Cass Tech High School in Detroit, Michigan. Upon Completion, he continued at Wayne State University earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Education, a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Counseling and Doctorate of Philosophy Degree in Christian Education.
Dr. Hayes is Founder and CEO of Spoken Word Bible Training School, a bible school open to the community and surrounding area to enhance spiritual growth in the Word of God since 1989. He also has a Motivation and Success Counseling Office, designed to motivate individuals to achieve goals of success and prosperity in areas such as anger management, marriage planning, marital enrichment, adolescent, family, and entrepreneurship through counseling.
He has received numerous awards for distinguished and outstanding leadership in the community such as “Pastor of the Year” in 1990, “Men of Distinction” honor in 1997, and honored in 1999 with the “Doing The Right Thing” award. He presently presides as President of the Mayor’s Task Force Team .
Dr. Hayes airs weekly on Word of Faith International Ministries Spoken Word Television Broadcast in Saginaw, Michigan and is featured monthly on “Ask The Pastor” panel which reaches thousands in the local and surrounding areas. Dr. Hayes can also be viewed nationally on “If You Can Look Up, You Can Get Up”© with his unique ministry of motivation that has reached as far as Africa, Asia, Philippines Island.
An author of four faith-filled publications entitled “Spiritual Workout”, “The Power of His Promises” and “Walking Victoriously” & his latest “If You Can Look up, You Can Get Up” and others are presently underway.
Dr. Hayes is a well renowned motivational speaker as well as a yielded vessel to God used mightily and prophetically in the spiritual gifts with signs, wonders and miracles following his life. He has a Word that has been placed in his mouth by God, which he speaks with boldness and authority and motivates to levels which are life changing.
Dr. Hayes is available to speak for events such as Conferences, Seminars and many other special Speaking engagements.
